How to order

Give us the name and the number, exactly as you want them made. For example: RIVERA — 24. Capitals, lowercase and spacing are copied exactly as you type them. Then choose your chain length.

Read this before you order a long name

This pendant carries two lines, so the name sets the width of the whole piece and the number sits inside that width. A short name makes a compact, square-ish pendant; a long name makes a wide one, and the number underneath looks smaller by comparison. In gold a wider pendant is also a heavier and more expensive one. Anything over about eight letters is worth a message first — tell us the name and number and we'll tell you honestly how the two lines will balance, and what it will weigh, before you buy.

Length guide

This is a two-line pendant, so it sits taller than our single-line pieces and hangs better with a little more length. For a younger athlete, 18" is usually right. For an adult, 20" or 22".

One thing we cannot do

Team names, logos and league marks are trademarked, so we don't make those. A player's own name, their number and initials are all fine — which is exactly what this piece is for.

Why solid 14K, not gold-filled or vermeil

Gold-filled and vermeil pieces are a thin gold skin over brass or silver, and this pendant has a lot of edges for that skin to go first. On something worn daily by someone who plays sports it is gone inside a year or two — which is why they cost a sixth of this. This one is solid 14K gold all the way through, stamped 14K. It will not flake, it will not turn skin green, it can be polished and repaired forever, and it holds its metal value.

Care

Solid gold needs almost nothing. Warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, paying attention to the gap between the two lines. Dry with a soft cloth. Take it off for games and practice. Message us any time for a free re-polish on anything you bought from us.
